Ah, the breeze is blowing today. It’s been a few weeks since I’ve used the AC (albeit even when I used it, it was rather intermittent). The leaves are falling and they are rustling around on the streets at night.

This is the beauty of Fall. In just a few weeks, it’s Halloween which always leads to a good time.

… if Comcast has anything to do with it. An article in the LA Times yesterday went over the possibility that Hulu might make you pay to watch. This is all dependent on whether or not Comcast is able to complete a deal with NBC Universal. There is no guarantee that this happens and there are a few stars that need to align (Vivendi needs to sell of their 20% stake and then federal regulators need to approve the consolidation of media).

It’s time. Whereas I enjoy focusing on personal finance fundamentals most of the time, I have something that I need to get out. It’s busting at the seams.

If you were one of the individuals who filed an IRS extension Form 4868 this past April, your deadline is fast approaching! The Form 4868 is a 6 month extension from the typical deadline of April.

October 15th also happens to be the last day you can claim your economic stimulus rebate. (Figure out how much you are due)

There are a few important things you need to keep in mind as you go to file your tax return:

You owe interest on any 2008 taxes that were not paid by the normal deadline of April 15, 2009.
