This is a guest post from Mr Credit Card. Today, he is going to write a guest post about ROI on credit cards (which I guess fits the theme of my blog).
Credit cards are like knives. You can hurt yourself with them, or they can be great tools. Today, I’m going to talk about how to increase your “ROI” on your credit card use. But first, let’s talk the how your credit card ROI is correlated with how you use your card.
Negative ROI – If you carry a balance on your credit card, then your use of credit card is a negative ROI. That is because you are paying interest. If all you are paying in the minimum payments, you’ll experience a negative ROI for many years!

Welcome to the Carnival of Personal Finance, Edition #224 – National Dog Week. I’ll be honest, I had no idea it was “National Dog Week” until I realized I was hosting this week’s carnival. On my search for a carnival theme, I stumbled upon a site that listed this month’s holidays. When I saw that it was National Dog Week, I figured that it would work perfectly with my pro-dog stance while simultaneously allowing me to post a pic of our dogs! In conjunction with this week, if you are looking for a place to donate money to, consider donating to the ASPCA.
On to the carnival, there were 60 awesome submissions this week, and I am honored to be the host of all of them.

That sequence of events gets played out everyday all across the country by the shows endearing fans.
Are they drunk? Or just stupid?
Probably drunk. And probably stupid.

My biggest news in the past month… maybe few months… is that I am now a Moolanomy staff writer! He was graced with good news about a job change, so he needed a few extra writers to keep his blog running smoothly. I’ll still be writing here on the same schedule, so nothing should change on this end. Just make sure you check out my posts on his site, like my first one this week: Advice To Recent Graduates From An Ex-Recent Grad.
Other than that, here are a few of the carnivals I participated in as well as the articles I enjoyed this week.
