You will need to meet certain criteria such as spending the money on capital goods ( ie computers or equipment) you can get up to $50,000.00. If your business is aimed at exporting you can get funding from Export and Development Canada (EDC), also you could talk to the Small Business Development Bank (SBDC). Another great point in Canada is a program called SHRED, this pays 50% of all research and development costs. In any case please have a proper business plan, know the facts of your new business and if you have orders for your product the lenders will be really interested.
