A month or two ago you may remember that I was doing a work assignment that had me working out of a hotel and doing some pretty tough hours. I had mentioned that my reasoning was that I was hoping for a promotion out of it. And what do you know? The first position that opened up that was the same role as I had been filling in for gets offered to me!

Thanks for the mention on Interview Questions to prepare for. Congrats on the new job, hard work often pays off. There’s a saying I think I heard from Dave Ramsey, “Opportunity Knocks, and more often than not he’s got work clothes on.”
