Yup, as mentioned.. they can check out my comments on the actual post to see my reasoning.

But the short version: For the dishwashing detergent, I would save about $5-10/yr based on how many loads I do. That is a fraction of a drop in a bucket. Surely everyone has bigger leaks than that if they are looking for ways to save money. Add in laundry detergent and what.. another $10?

BUT, I do love the ideas for self-reliance and sustainability reasons. Which is precisely why I linked it :)
