Weekly Mashup: Charity Edition

As mentioned on Monday, Matt Jabs of Debt Free Adventure won my Global Giving gift card giveaway. This got me in the spirit to do a charity themed link roundup.

I can’t wait to hear what project Matt chooses to help, and I am sure he is excited to let us know!

  • Moolanomy presents 6 Ways to Give. The first one is Christmas specific, but the rest can be done at any time and are very good ideas.
  • How to Give More to Charity @ 2 Million Blog. Have you considered automating your donations? It will appear to be just another small monthly bill, but could increase your overall giving!
  • Good Financial Cents donated money through DonorsChoose.org. It sems to be just like Global Giving but more United States education specific. Check it out!
    • Giving Our First Fruits @ Bible Money Matters. Peter asks for your thoughts on giving back first, let him know what you think.
    • FMF gives us the best questions to ask a charity. I think this is a GREAT idea. FMF is inspiring in that he donates a lot of money to charity every single year. He posts what charities he donates to each year and it never fails to impress me.
    • Free children’s books @ Suburban Dollar. I had never heard of this charity created by Dolly Parton, but it seems like a great idea!

Thanks!

Feel free to post any links to great charities or articles about charity (to stick with the theme!).
