I work from home now but I used to work a a payroll officer and I was appalled at the waste of resources. It was a light open plan office but the lights were always on, even in the height of summer. We had no windows and the aircon was always on. What a waste of energy! I love working at home in my own office. Fresh air flowing through the room and natural light. Lovely.

Our company recently forced duplex printing, but you can turn it off under printing options. I think it is a great move to save paper and resources. The company I work for has close to 100,000 employees across the globe and I'm pretty sure they made this initiative mandatory around the world. Good move I think.
