This week I had three articles chosen to be in carnivals:
- Four Pillars hosted the Carnival of Personal Finance and included my article on Deciphering Vacation Reviews to Save Money.
- Money NING hosted the Festival of Frugality and included my article on Saving Money by Streaming TV and Movies through your Xbox 360 or Playstation 3.
- Money TLD hosted the Money Hacks Carnival and included my article I learned How to Invest by Learning How to Save.
Other articles I enjoyed:
- Studenomics had a week long theme on start-ups @ Studenomics. Rather than link each article just go browse his past posts this week. If you remember… I posted an article on whether or not start-ups were a good idea right now.
- Stupid Cents discussed taking off spending for a week. Since we are a country that consumes consumes consumes… I thought this was a great idea!
- The Amateur Financier posted a good article on charity and what he learned from volunteering. Is the money being used correctly?
- Weakonomics did a week long theme on different tax ideas. The one I found most interesting because of all the hype and misinformation out there was his write up on the FairTax. I think he did a good job giving a balanced review of the FairTax so you should take a look.
Look forward to another week of posts! Hope to see some more readers and commenters!

Thanks for the inclusion, my friend. Glad you liked my post; it’s amazing how much of a financial education you can get from volunteering.
