This week I had three articles chosen to be in carnivals:
- Stock Trading To Go hosted the Carnival of Personal Finance and included my article You Work Hard For Your Money But….
- Funny about Money hosted the Festival of Frugality and included my article How to Figure Out Taxable Income for a Recent Graduate .
- Money NING hosted the Money Hacks Carnival and included my article Save Money by Connecting Your Computer to Your Television.
I encourage you to go through the carnivals and find some articles you like. I guarantee you will!
Here are a few other articles I really enjoyed:
- Stupid Cents posted a good Story of the Mexican Fisherman which serves to remind us that quality of life has its place, too.
- Studenomics asked Is An Education a Debt Sentence? His post kind of goes along with a question I asked in an earlier post: Are Student Loans Driving Your Career?
- The Amateur Financier in a series of posts going over the investment pyramid (like the food pyramid!) discussed Speculation. An interesting series, and an interesting post!
- Green Panda Treehouse gave us the knowledge to become expert yard sale hunters!
- Free Money Finance posted an email from a reader with a question about an engagement ring. I think the comments are pretty interesting to see how some people have saved small fortunes on this purchase!
- Stephanie at Poorer Than You gave us a crash course on Resumes, Cover Letters, and Job Searches. Very timely advice for some.
As you know from the alert box up top I am on vacation this week. However, I will still have posts every day. Tomorrow I will go over how my girlfriend and I sorted through the vacation reviews to save ourselves money. It has to do with expectations and attitude mostly ;)

I'm MLR. After graduating from college debt free, I decided to write a blog encouraging people to adapt responsible and sensible personal finance rules.
