A lot of people would rather not waste the money on a 360 only wireless router……
I personally like this because i have spare routers lying around, and never though getting one for my 360 was more important than buying the games themselves.

Oh plus a lot of the people that can afford a 360 and then only a game every so often- getting the 360 by saving money.

If anyone is concerned about the attempting this, don’t worry. This is one of those cases where the explaination takes longer than the actual process. I have two WRT54G both with new firmware. I use the second as a wireless bridge.

I have netgear rangemax router as primary router. To make Xbox 360 wireless ,If I buy Netgear WNDR3300 (refurbished will cost $40) ,will it work or should I buy Linkys WRT54G (costing also $50-60)
Do I need to do FLASH as you explained in this article?
I see Rangmax WPN824v3( which I have at this time as primary router) does not support DD-WRT.Will it affect the WNDRD3300 comapbility for DD-WRT.
